ROUND ROCK NAMED SEVENTH BEST PLACE
ROUND ROCK (CNNMoney.com) – Round Rock ranked seventh on CNNMoney’s list
of America’s best small cities in which to live.
The city's appeal is credited to affordable housing,
its school district and computer company Dell’s decision to establish its
headquarters there.
The median home price is $193,931, job growth has
risen just over 45 percent between 2000 and 2007, and family purchasing
power is at $101,381.
Also included in the top 25 of the "Best
Places to Live" are McKinney (14th), Carrollton (15th), Richardson
(18th) and Allen (20th).
